A little shop in Eagle Rock
The Shop
Walk into Bee’s Books & Binds and you’ll find shelves of handmade journals, beautiful papers, bookbinding tools, and a carefully chosen selection of goods for makers and book lovers. Everything here is chosen with care. We stock what we love.
Our online store is coming soon, but you’re always welcome to shop in person Tuesday through Sunday, 11am to 6pm, at 4534 Eagle Rock Blvd in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. Gift cards are available to purchase online now.
Handmade Books
Every book in the shop is bound by hand, right here in our studio. You’ll find journals, notebooks, and sketchbooks in a range of sizes, covers, and binding styles, each one a little different from the last. Whether you’re looking for something to write in, sketch in, or give as a gift, there’s something here made just to be used and loved.
Specialty Papers
We carry a rotating selection of beautiful papers sourced from around the world, including decorative sheets, Japanese tissue, marbled endpapers, and more. Perfect for bookbinding projects, collage, wrapping, or simply having on hand for when inspiration strikes.
Bookbinding Tools and Supplies
Everything you need to make a book from scratch. We stock awls, bone folders, bookbinding thread, needles, bookcloth, adhesives, and more. Whether you’re stocking up after one of our classes or diving in on your own, we’re happy to help you find what you need.
Curated Finds
Alongside our own work, we carry a thoughtfully chosen selection of goods from makers and small brands we admire. Expect stationery, art supplies, and objects that feel at home in a studio like ours.
